cat# 1 RASCAL GLX
The perfect interface for use with the digitalmodes and *EasyPAL Digital SSTV.
The fun has only just begun; Here's even more fun with the RASCAL interfaces, JT65, on HF, and 6 meters. JT65 is intended for extremely weak but slowly-varying
signals, such as those found on troposcatter or Earth-Moon-Earth (EME,
or "moonbounce") paths. It can decode signals many decibels below the
noise floor, and often allow HAMs to make incredible contacts over vast distances. I have passed data to other stations in other countries when the signals were not audible to the human ear. In every contact I make on JT65, I use less than 10 watts. Like the
other digital modes, multiple-frequency shift keying is used. In less than a month, I've made contact with more than 66 countries, and the numbers are still climbing. The manual and software for JT65 is GNU and free downloads at:Manual: http://jt65-hf.com/files/jt65-hf-setup.pdf Operating software: http://jt65-hf.com/files/setup-JT65-HF-1093.exe
